Lurdusaurus was an Iguanadont from the early Cretaceous Niger. It had a relatively long neck but the real thing that makes it odd is that even though it is only 30 feet long, it is 6 tons! It was very thick and most likely slow moving. It had the typical thumb spike of Iguanadons. It used it. Being slow and very wide, it would have made a perfect target for most predators. Plus the fact that it had a shorter tail than most Iguanadonts of its size, it would have been on the menu of almost all medium carnivores of the time. Its size does come with its advantages. It could crush most carnivores that give t the opportunity, so it was a good idea to think twice another attacking a Lurdusaurus.
