Deltadromeus was one, if not the last of the Ceratosaurs. It could grow to a maximum of 30 feet and weighed 1.2 tons. It had very long legs and was 8-10 feet tall at the hips. It has been debated about whether or not Deltadromeus was a Ceratosaur, and it could be an Allosaur. A head hasn't been found yet, so we really can't say for certain. It is similar to a much larger Bahariasaurus and they could be the same animals, but once again, the lacking of skulls for both of those animals means that we can't say with real certainty. Deltadromeus lived in middle Cretaceous Africa around 100 million years ago. Unfortunately for it, that time and place is the second most carnivorous dinosaur infested place ever to be discovered. On the Deltadromeus' defense, it was one of the fastest bipedal dinosaurs. It could probably hit speeds of up to 40-45 mph or more, faster than any other dinosaur in Africa. It would have preyed heavily on Ouranosaurus, being that it was the only food source that would sustain a Deltadromeus' high metabolism. There is a downside to being so fast and light: you are going to be fragile, and one hit from an Ouranosaurus's tail and it could cause serious damage.
