Polacanthus was an Ankylosaur from early Cretaceous England. It was 16 feet long and 5 feet tall, very tall for an Ankylosaur. To put a comparison on it, Gastonia was only 3 feet tall and it was 20 feet long. Polacanthus had very large spines jutting out from the armor on its back, and they would be very useful for protecting its head from any predator who was foolish enough to try and bite through its armor. It also weighed 1 ton, and was heavily muscled. Polacanthus didn't have a tail club, which is common for the Ankylosaur sub group it is in, the Nodosaurs.
