Tarbosaurus is the second biggest known tyrannosaur. It also has the smallest arms compared to its body size of any of its relatives. Tarbosaurus was around 40 feet long, weighed up to 7 tons, and was around 16 feet tall at the hips. It was a surprisingly fast runner and could run at least 25 mph, if not more. Tarbosaurus had a very powerful bite, and with its thick teeth, could crush bone with an amazing 5 tons of pressure. Tarbosaurus has,a skull that is slightly thinner than other tyrannosaurs, and its depth perception wasn't good to say the least. It was the biggest predator of its environment, but would still probably have to contend with animals like Achillobator and Gigantorapror. A juvenile Tarbosaurus has also been found. Tarbosaurus was found in late Cretaceous Mongolia, and probably hunted the sauropods ankylosaurs and hadrosaurs of the area.
